Description
SBG, a DSS, Inc. company, specializing in engineering, information technology, cyber-security, intelligence, and training, is looking for a hard-working results-oriented Systems Administrator IV. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a positive attitude looking to join our rapidly growing company. The ideal candidates for this position have strong attention to detail, analytical and ethical, who can excel in a very fast-paced government contractor environment. This is an on-site role based in Charleston, SC
**Contingent Upon Contract Award**
OVERVIEW
Experience shall include installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, and web page design, interface and updates, and local system design documentation. Individual shall detail experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and implementing network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services. Individual shall detail capability e with training staff on software applicable to their position, assisting customers with information technology, monitoring system configuration (hardware and software), and providing instruction on computers and applications. Must have active TS clearance.
Systems Administrator IV will:

Install, configure, and upgrade hardware, software, and system components to support operational requirements.

Create and manage network accounts, enforce access control, and ensure adherence to network security protocols.

Maintain, update, and troubleshoot web page design, interfaces, and content in accordance with project requirements.

Develop and maintain local system design documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and SOPs.

Implement and maintain network security tools, such as Firewalls, Anti-virus solutions and Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)

Monitor and maintain system configuration baselines, identifying and resolving hardware/software compatibility issues.

Provide technical support and user assistance for desktop and enterprise applications.

Train users and staff on relevant software tools and IT systems to ensure proper usage and compliance.

Support operational needs by troubleshooting and resolving system performance or access issues in a timely manner.

Assist in maintaining compliance with Cybersecurity policies and standards under DoD 8570.1M and DoD 8140.
Qualifications
Required
- Must possess an active Top Secret (TS) clearance
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in systems administration with a Master’s degree
- Minimum of 14 years of professional experience in systems administration with a Bachelor’s degree
- Experience must include supporting the daily operational requirements of computer network systems, including Workstations, File servers and Web servers
Education
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 14 years of professional experience in systems administration.
- Master’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in systems administration.
Degree in one of the following fields:
