What you'll do

We're looking for a self-motivated, hands-on Front End engineering manager for In Product Growth, who will be leading a best-in-class engineering team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building React component libraries.

You will do this while working with a team of passionate people, who care about building scalable front-ends and delivering the best solutions to our customers.

This position is a people manager role reporting to the Sr. Manager, Engineering.

Responsibility

• Help define the vision and roadmap for In Product Growth initiatives
• Lead a team of engineers
• Work with other project teams to identify dependencies and build shared code
• Implement and deliver Docusign's design system through the component library
• Collaborate with the UX organization and participate in design reviews
• Own and deliver accurate effort estimations for each release cycle
• Work as part of a development team in the design, implementation, testing and release of new solutions
• Lead team to architect and build high-quality, ship-ready code with unit tests

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5 total years industry experience in Software Engineering
• 5 years of hands-on/coding experience developing JavaScript libraries, with focus on performance and scalability
• 3 years of engineering management experience

Preferred

• Experience building React component libraries used across multiple projects
• Deep knowledge of HTML and CSS and how the web works
• Appreciation for good designs and the ability to work well with user experience teams
• Experience with Git, continuous integration and deployment tools
• Experience working in an agile development environment

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $151,800.00 - $245,150.00 base salary

Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $145,800.00 - $214,350.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
