Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Irrigation Service Technician to join our growing team. The candidate must have a strong working knowledge of both residential and commercial irrigation systems and will be responsible for opening, troubleshooting, maintaining and winterizing systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties.
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to water flow, pressure, and system malfunctions.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for digging, building, and maintaining landscape features.
- Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to ensure effectiveness of irrigation systems.
- Educate clients on proper irrigation practices.
- Discuss needed repairs and available improvements with clients.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years working experience servicing irrigation systems.
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or lawn care is preferred.
- Must be able to use company software to track hours worked, materials and additional information to ensure proper billing to clients.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand and repair irrigation systems.
- Experience using hand/power tools commonly used in irrigation work.
- Ability to perform physical work such as digging trenches, install piping, and set up sprinkler systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Must be able to work well independently or with other team members.
- A clean and valid driver's license is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
