Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Project Manager. Qualified candidates must have experience working in the landscaping industry for residential/commercial design and build divisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Responsibilities
- Assist with pricing, scheduling and procurement of materials as needed.
- Coordinate and schedule projects with team members to ensure equipment, materials and subcontractors are in place so jobs run efficiently while maintaining the highest of standards.
- Perform takeoffs.
- Read and interpret plans, specifications and related documents.
- Must be able to work in collaborative environment and participate in design and construction meetings.
- Supervise operations in the field from inception to completion for assigned projects.
- Use company software to keep daily time records, materials used and completion of projects.
- Assist in mobilization and management for snow removal services.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and ensure client satisfaction upon completion.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in commercial and residential landscape construction management.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Aspire Software a plus but not required.
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, relevant rules, regulations and quality standards. Must possess a working knowledge of project estimating, contracts and submittals.
- OSHA Certification a plus.
- Bilingual a plus but not required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to details while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and team members.
- Must a clean valid driver's license.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position is responsible for assigning, reviewing and checking the work of other team members. The following positions report directly to the Construction Manager:
- Foreman
- Operators
- Laborers
