Dog Boarding At The Beach in Myrtle Beach, SC is looking for one assistant kennel operations manager to join our 10 person strong team. We are located on 401 Tyner St. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and train our front desk staff
- Oversee overall operations of the facility
- Train and educate kennel assistants and managers
- Ability to feed all of the animals in our care and administer medications
- Organize and encourage scheduled staff
- Assist with time management, social media, filing, answering phone calls and customer questions, scheduling reservations
- Assist with bathing and nail trims
- Ensure invoices are correct
- Assist with group play management
- Weekends and Holidays required
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in the animal care field
- Minimum 1 year management experience
- Experience with bathing, teeth, nails and ears
- Experience feeding and administering medication including injectable medications
- Training courses on behavior/signs of aggression/signs of stress
- Dog Handling Experience including fearful or feral dogs
- Experience with all breeds of dogs including a minimum of 6 months of experience monitoring group play
