Dog Days of Buffalo, Buffalo's premier dog enrichment company, is currently seeking a Customer Service representative to join our team!
Dog Days of Buffalo is seeking an outgoing, energetic individual to fill our Customer Service/Front Desk position in our high traffic dog daycare facility. The right candidate must be friendly, enthusiastic, personable, have excellent communication skills and be able to multi-task under pressure. Compensation is dependent on experience.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
- Managing day-to-day customer service and office operations of the dog daycare, building client relationships and resolving any client issues. This position plays an integral role in the day-to-today operation of entire facility.You will liaise with owners/management to ensure smooth operation of the daycare. In this role you will serve as primary contact for both business and customer inquiries, follow policies and procedures in dealing with clients and customers and investigate customer's inquiries to find solutions. You must be comfortable communicating with customers in person or via phone/ email. You must also review dog charts to verify necessary vaccinations are up to date, that daycare, training, and grooming scheduling and re-scheduling is complete and accurate, direct customer flow and assist staff with "moving" dogs throughout the facility. Additional duties with be maintaining filing systems, preparing supply requisitions and performing clerical functions.
Training on our point of sale software will be provided. Candidate should have strong PC / Microsoft Office skills, be detail oriented and enjoy working in a small fast paced environment.
Job Requirements:
MUST be friendly and outgoing and MUST really love dogs.Must be reliable, responsible and a hard worker. Must be able to follow instructions and have good follow through.MUST have a positive attitude and be able to motivate your team, good computer skills are required. Candidates must be available on Saturdays periodically.
