We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pet Groomer. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and the skills necessary to provide exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering top-notch grooming experiences for our clients. Your expertise in pet care and customer service will help create a welcoming environment for both pets and their owners.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and cats.
• Utilize proper animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both pets and staff during grooming sessions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area, including sanitizing tools and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ grooming needs, preferences, and any observed health issues.
• Provide excellent customer service to build lasting relationships with clients.
• Handle animals with care and compassion, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process.
• Stay informed about current trends in pet grooming and care to enhance service offerings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pet grooming or a related field is required.
• Strong skills in animal handling, including dog handling and restraint techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
