If You Are…
· Eager to spend time with dogs and cats all day long (you like people but showing love to the first dog or cat you see is top priority),
· Have excellent customer service skills (you can't wait to recommend a product to a customer you know will help their pet),
· Are punctual (If you’re 15 minutes early you are on time and if you are five minutes early you are late),
· Able to assess and prioritize tasks, projects, and messages (you know what needs to be done and what can wait),
· Highly organized, accurate, and detail-oriented (you might even arrange your DVD’s in alphabetical order…),
· Customer-focused and committed to giving an amazing experience (you aim to please regardless of a dog or cat being present),
· Passionate, positive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented (you’re a glass-half-full kind of person with a can-do attitude),
· Self-confident and self-assured (you’re kind and respectful, but are more than willing to greet each and every person that walks into the store),
· Love fresh cookies (yes, we handmake our cookies and cakes),
· Retail store experience is mandatory (but not pet store experience, we have great trainers that want to teach you everything dog and cat)!
And would love to…
· Represent the company and in the most honest, positive manner (your words and actions have a huge impact),
· Find the best foods and treats that fit each customer’s needs (whether that be low fat or high protein, you want to help them find the perfect product),
· Assist with routine work and special projects (you never know what cool assignments you might get like restocking 200 cans of pet food),
· Know your work has meaning (we strive to provide the best products for animals but we also partner with local shelters to help the pets not yet adopted into a family).
