Job description
Dogali Selvy Law, P.A. is a small firm located in Clearwater, Florida. We have a very diverse litigation practice, encompassing a wide array of claims, including:
• Construction claims
• Commercial litigation, contract disputes
• Professional liability
• Corporate malfeasance
• Real estate litigation
• Consumer fraud litigation
• Probate litigation
• Insurance coverage
• Personal injury
The attorney will perform a broad range of tasks, including:
• Draft pleadings, motion practice, appellate briefs
• Attend hearings
• Research and analyze complex issues in federal and state court
• Conduct depositions
• Draft discovery
• Draft responses to discovery
• Gather and organize documents and evidence
• Communicate with opposing counsel
• Communicate with clients
• Interview clients and witnesses
• Attend mediations
• Negotiate and settle claims
• Supervise staff
• Attend jury and non-jury trials – first or second chair depending upon client expectations, nature of claim, and attorney experience
Qualifications
• The candidate must be a member in good standing of the Florida Bar
• Preference will be given to someone with at least two years of litigation experience who exhibits ambition and a desire for permanency
• While we encourage an in-office presence, remote work is available
Salary : $70,000 - $130,000
