Job Description

Doggett Warehouse Solutions (DWS), Warehouse Solutions Sales Team Members take charge in the retention of existing customers and have the drive to identify and acquire new customers and accounts. This role is to be focused on expanding DWS’ footprint by educating and engaging with customers and solving their day-to-day issues with solutions that are thought out and worked on with our engineering team. Projects to be worked on include but not limited to Racking, Shelving, Mezzanines, Picking Systems, Conveyors, Sortation, and Carousels. DWS Sales Team Members will work closely with Vendors and Internal engineering team members to achieve the common goal – Making our customers day to day operational cost lower and more efficient while maintaining Doggett’s integrity and reputation. The project management and Warehouse Solutions aspect of this Job is a key function to customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions

  • Identify and qualify new accounts
  • Retain Current customers with follow through on the latest solutions in the market
  • Build relationships with current and new vendors to ensure customers are introduced to a wider range of solutions that can and will improve their operations.
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and vendor seminars to further your education
  • Having a robust understanding of warehouse operations and product storage.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 or more years in the Warehouse Solutions industry is preferred
  • 5 or more years with Sales experience

General

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time-management and phone skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Stable and successful career background
  • Willingness to travel nationwide 5-10 percent.
