Job Summary
This individual will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of trucks to predetermined customers.
Essential Functions
- Conduct thorough inspections of assigned vehicles
- Start, warm up, and fuel trucks, to ensure safety and operational efficiency
- Perform light mechanical maintenance, including changing batteries and replacing mudflaps as needed
- Deliver trucks to assigned customers in a timely manner
- Maintain ongoing communication with the sales department regarding delivery schedules and customer needs
- Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their specifications and satisfaction
- Obtain delivery confirmations from customers and address any concerns or issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Driver’s License
- Minimum 1 years’ experience as CDL Driver
- Minimum 5 years of maintaining a valid Driver’s License.
- Clean driving record
- Strong customer service skills
- Must possess a positive and professional attitude
- Proven experience in vehicle operation, delivery, or transportation
Typical Physical Activity
Inside a commercial vehicle, inside and outside loading areas. Physical Demands consist of standing, sitting, walking, stooping, reaching overhead, driving, grasping, moving equipment, pushing, pulling, reading, speaking, hearing and lifting up to 75 lbs.
