What are the responsibilities and job description for the Porter - Sales position at Doggett?
Classification - Non-Exempt - Entry Level
NOW HIRING! Start your new career today with Doggett Ford. The Sales Porter is responsible for maintaining the new and used car lot making sure it is front line ready.
Essential Functions
- Making sure keys in the key machine are accounted for
- Moves new and used vehicles as needed to fill holes in the lot and as requested
- Moves vehicles around the facility as requested for customers dropping off and picking up their units
- Making sure batteries in units are charged and changed out as needed
- Assist managers prepare units for loaner service as needed
- Assists with overall cleanliness of facility and surrounding areas of the lot
- Touches base with Sales Managers at the beginning of the day and end of day before leaving
- Must be able to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have a valid state license.
- Previous automotive experience preferred
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred
