What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boarding Attendant position at Doggy Come Play?
Doggy Come Play Boarding is looking for a self motivated person who would like to join our team. Work hours are Friday-Monday 7:30 am to noon This facility is in Bow WA.
Job duties include, but not limited to;
Using exceptional customer service when dealing with clients and their dogs.
Be proficient at cleaning, sanitizing dog areas. This includes mopping floors, washing walls, empty trash.
Do visual checks on dogs for well being and report any concerns daily.
Being outside and monitoring dog in any kind of weather.
Qualifications:
A genuine fondness of dogs Will train the right person
Have the ability to observe and monitor dog behavior and intervene as necessary to keep dogs safe in play groups and prevent fights.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Have reliable transportation (own car) and driver’s license.
Must be able to work week-ends and Holidays (our busiest times) For Boarding position)
Have some knowledge of animal care (will train the right person).
Able to bend, stoop, squat and stand outside in all weather conditions.
Able to learn computer system and complete written reports if needed.
Capable of learning (reading and watching videos) training materials provide, in a timely matter if required.
Be reliable, patient, and capable of working without supervision.
