Description:
We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician I to join our facilities team. This person reports to a Manager and has no supervisory responsibilities. The purpose of this role is to maintain the proper upkeep of buildings and to provide support for improvements and projects as directed. A clean driving record is required. 1-3 years experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair all aspects of buildings.
- Basic understanding of electrical
- Basic understanding of plumbing; drain maintenance, repair flush valves, etc.
- Basic understanding HVAC- Hot & Cold calls
- Basic understanding construction techniques: Carpentry, Painting, Drywall Repair
- Basic understanding heavy equipment operation
- Basic understanding irrigation
- Swimming pool maintenance
- Assists to maintain records such as equipment, material, and inventory, etc.
- Assists with administrative tasks related to B&G activities as assigned.
- Setting up for special events and meetings
- Special cleaning projects
- Moving of equipment, furniture, and supplies
- Grounds clean-up
- Performs other duties as required
- Independent thinker
