In this role, you will work closely with a dynamic team of experts dedicated to helping our donors realize their philanthropic dreams while working closely with leadership to identify potential pipelines and trends in donor giving.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Raiser’s Edge Specialist plays a vital role in managing our Raiser’s Edge database and ensuring user security within the program. This position involves crafting ad hoc reports for company leadership and exploring opportunities to enhance our processes.
Additionally, the specialist will inform pack members about new features, provide necessary training, and help develop and implement best practices. The role also encompasses maintaining and monitoring other donor-centric programs that support our mission and philanthropic objectives.

Raisers Edge
- Maintain the Raiser’s Edge database.
- Prepare reports from Raiser’s Edge, providing financial analysis and information using created queries and canned reporting.
- Ability to analyze complex lists and donor-driven financial reports and provide reporting and/or recommendations based on that analysis.
- Ability to anticipate the leadership team's and other staff's reporting needs, asking appropriate questions to ensure correct and accurate results.
- Generate mailing and email lists for the Marketing and Philanthropy departments as needed.
- Assist Philanthropy associates in maintaining their portfolio
- Assist in other areas of the Finance Department as needed.
- Special projects as assigned.

A solid understanding of accounting concepts, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in preparing correspondence are essential for this role. Attention to detail and expertise in data entry across various software platforms are crucial. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word is required, and candidates should have expert-level experience with Raiser’s Edge or a similar donor-centric database. Additionally, strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a must to excel in this position.
