Position Requirement & Training Period
We offer extensive training in dog body language and behavior. The probationary training period will include orientation to the business as a whole, regular check-ins with leadership, a structured educational program, and experiential, hands-on learning with our professional staff.

Position Responsibilities
- Cleaning shared spaces during the business week and every or rotating weekends deep cleaning the playrooms (based on schedule preference)
- Maintain, service, and replace equipment
- Maintaining landscaping & ensuring lot is free of litter, trash, and dog feces
- Organizing and upkeep of storage areas
- Keeping dumpster areas clean and orderly including adhering to trash & recycling schedule
- Maintaining interior paint
- Seasonal maintenance including winterizing
- Maintenance of plumbing, lounge appliances, and laundry room appliances and sinks
- Ensure crates are free of rust, sharp edges, and in proper working condition
- Ensure outdoor play areas is clean and visually appealing, the turf is adhered properly, and supplies are in proper condition
- Ensure playroom equipment is in proper condition, clean, & free of rough edges
- Maintain spa area and all equipment necessary for spa services
- Ensure Fire extinguishers are prominently mounted, marked, and with inspection log current to legal guidelines
- Other projects as assigned
Shift Availability
Flexible to your schedule, but hours worked are limited to between 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Dogtopia of Madison West (dogtopia.com/madisonwest) has three large and bright, temperature-controlled indoor playrooms complete with canine play equipment, rubber flooring (for joint health), pet-safe cleaning products designed for canine open-play, and trained caregivers who use positive reinforcement to help dogs succeed. We have two large outdoor playgrounds complete with hypoallergenic Doggie turf, summertime shade, play equipment, and water games. Our facilities are also equipped with an air purification system designed to kill bacteria, mold, and viruses, including the SARS-coV-2 virus that causes COVID-19.
