Job Overview
Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services has an immediate opening for an energetic, organized, sales and business-minded individual to start the Seattle business as an Assistant General Manager. This is a role for someone with a sales and operations background who understands hard work, can wear multiple hats from growing D.I.D. (Dogs in the Door), creating evacauation plans, interacting with pet parents, making sure the operations in the back end are running smoothly to just about anything else needed to start a business from the grounds up. He/she will work with the GM and split responsibilities. This person should love dogs.
Responsibilities
- Smoothly run the back end operations - scheduling, all safety and cleaning protocols are being followed.
- Interact professionally with pet parents and help drive very high retention rates for our current customers. Set an example with respect to customer experience.
- Create and execute Instore Events - picture day for dogs, costume day etc.
- Drives leads for the business
- Meet and Greet new parents and dogs. Convert them into customers.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making is required.
