General Job Description
Dogwood Industries is seeking a qualified CNC Programmer to join our innovative building solutions team. If you are passionate about CNC programming, Python, and have a desire to grow into a detailing role, we encourage you to apply and be part of our innovative team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and be comfortable working under tight deadlines with multiple responsibilities.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Program CNC machines, specifically for lasers and Python plasma cutters
- Generate DXF files from 3D models to facilitate CNC machining processes
- Help the shop by correcting cut files as required
- Strive to learn and develop skills in detailing by actively engaging with experienced team members
- Embrace opportunities for professional growth and actively participate in training sessions
- Work closely with the 3D modeling and detailing team to understand project requirements
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to supporting team members and colleagues, willingly providing assistance beyond assigned responsibilities
- Organize and maintain database of information
- Research product knowledge as needed to ensure accurate and complete drawings
- Maintain electronic and written files in a neat and orderly manner
- Maintain documentation in Excel and Word as required

Physical Requirements / Work Environment
This position requires moderate physical activity, primarily in an office environment but may include visits to jobsites to collaborate and inspect materials. To perform the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly seated at a computer desk with the option to stand, utilizing the telephone frequently, and participating in meetings with colleagues. There are stairs in the office. In the factory setting, you may inspect and handle materials and be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes and odors.

70,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Location
This is an onsite position at the Dogwood Factory Office at 500 Metcalf st, Sedro-Woolley, WA 98284. Remote / hybrid options are not available at this time.
