In this role, you will support the fabrication, painting, and assembly of steel building structures in an industrial manufacturing atmosphere. Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will participate in the Quality Assurance Program, use hand and power tools to clean and prep steel, read and understand work orders and project task codes, mix and prepare paint coatings, apply paints and coatings in accordance with procedures and manufacturer's instructions, accurately record quality data on cleaning and coating reports, and maintain the factory work areas and bathrooms. They must also be willing to learn and adapt to new situations and be able to lift up to 25 pounds without restrictions.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, be able to read and understand written instructions, have basic math skills, and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools. Additionally, they should have previous construction, manufacturing, or mechanical experience and a high school diploma, general education degree, or vocational degree. Candidates must also be willing to learn and adapt to new situations and be able to lift up to 25 pounds without restrictions.
