Distribution Center Clerk - Shipping Specialist

What a Shipping Specialist will do :

• Oversee and coordinate all inbound receiving activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of shipments
• Conduct thorough inspections of incoming products for quality and compliance
• Maintain accurate records of received goods, including quantities, descriptions, and conditions
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to generate reports, track inventory, and communicate with team and vendors
• Analyze receiving data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas of improvement in the process
• Collaborate with inventory management and logistics teams to optimize workflows
• Train and mentor new staff on receiving procedures and best practices
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized receiving area, adhering to safety and operational standards
