Doherty Career Solutions is partnering with a local Alexandria, MN company as they continue to grow. This position is 100% onsite in Alexandria, MN and the team is looking to add a Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator is in place to support the Project Manager in a high-volume administrative setting. This position requires 1-2 years prior experience working with construction applications and functions, terminology, permits, etc. This position offers growth, stability, and a pay scale of $25.00-35.00 an hour depending upon experience. This position will start as a contract to hire.

- Submitting requests for electrical construction permits.
- Follow up with county/city/state offices and tracking of inspections and close-outs.
- Tracking of hours, estimates, and project documents.
- Assist with documentation required for projects.
- Assist with other permit processes on projects and other functions.
- A variety of other duties may be assigned based on needs of the department.
- Prior construction experience is required: knowledge of permits and licensing, RF, low voltage, reading and understanding plan schematics, blueprints, and technical documents is extremely useful.
- Proficient in MSOffice, especially Excel as there is extensive use of spreadsheets, Word, Outlook.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently or with a team.
- Ability to work with confidential information.
