What you’ll do as a UV Print Operator :
- Prepare and calibrate the machine by loading inks, adjusting settings, and ensuring readiness for production
- Handle materials by loading printing substrates, aligning them accurately, and labeling finished products for in-house transit
- Operate the UV printer by inputting job instructions and ensuring proper color, saturation, and resolution per order specifications
- Maintain quality control by inspecting printed materials, making adjustments as needed, and monitoring processes to detect and address malfunctions
- Perform maintenance by cleaning the machine, replacing consumables, and troubleshooting minor issues to optimize performance
- Monitor production processes to maintain workflow and promptly address inefficiencies or deviations
- Record documentation such as production data, machine settings, and maintenance activities in Epicor, including daily reports and scrap tallies
- Collaborate with the team, including graphic designers, supervisors, and quality control staff, to ensure smooth production and meet customer requirements
- Adhere to SOPs by following procedures for operating equipment and manufacturing products effectively
- Monitor inventory to ensure materials and supplies are available for continuous operation
- Seek process improvements by identifying opportunities to enhance workflows, reduce cycle times, and boost efficiency without compromising quality
What you need to be a UV Print Operator :
Proficiency in English for reading, writing, and comprehension
Technical education or vocational training in printing or graphic arts preferred
Basic computer and data entry skills
Ability to perform simple math and interpret process sheets, SOPs, and tally sheets #NEjobhunt
