We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Estimator to join our team at Doherty Steel, Inc. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as strong computer skills, including Tekla EPM PowerFab.
About the Role:
The Senior Estimator will be responsible for providing accurate bid proposals and scope analysis for potential projects. This includes reviewing drawings, specifications, and other documents to successfully bid jobs at a profit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate bid proposals and scope analysis for potential projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and other documents to successfully bid jobs at a profit
- Negotiate with customers and communicate with DSI staff
- Work with the Project Manager to ensure accurate transferring of information and defining of scope
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (preferred), or equivalent experience
- Ability to commute/relocate
- Strong computer skills, including Tekla EPM PowerFab
Our competitive salary range is $100,000 - $125,000 per year for Senior Level and $75,000-$85,000 per year for Non Senior Level. We also offer 401k retirement with company match, health, dental, and vision insurance, and a health savings account with company contribution.
