Doherty Steel, Inc. is a leading AISC Certified steel fabrication and erection company in the Midwest. Our 165,000 sq ft facility is located in Paola, Kansas. We are seeking a skilled Senior Project Estimator to join our team.
About the Role:
The Senior Estimator will provide accurate bid proposals and scope analysis for potential projects. This includes reviewing drawings, specifications, and other documents to successfully bid jobs at a profit. You will also be responsible for negotiating with customers and communicating with DSI staff.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate bid proposals and scope analysis for potential projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and other documents to successfully bid jobs at a profit
- Negotiate with customers and communicate with DSI staff
- Work with the Project Manager to ensure accurate transferring of information and defining of scope
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (preferred), or equivalent experience
- Ability to commute/relocate
- Strong computer skills, including Tekla EPM PowerFab
We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $125,000 per year for Senior Level and $75,000-$85,000 per year for Non Senior Level. Additionally, we provide 401k retirement with company match, health, dental, and vision insurance, and a health savings account with company contribution.
