Senior Estimator Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team at Doherty Steel, Inc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate bid proposals and scope analysis for potential projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, and other documents to successfully bid jobs at a profit.
- Negotiate with customers and communicate with DSI staff.
- Work with the Project Manager to ensure an accurate transferring of information and defining of scope.
- Continuously work with Project Management on pricing issues pertaining to the bid or to revisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
- Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Strong understanding of labor and material costs.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Computer skills in Tekla EPM PowerFab (preferred).
Benefits:
- $100,000 - $125,000 per year salary (Senior Level).
- $75,000-$85,000 per year salary (Non-Senior Level).
