The Role: Welder
We are seeking skilled Fabrication and Erection Experts who will be responsible for welding, cutting, and braising metal pieces and products using flame-cutting and hand welding equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute work orders according to specifications, gathering necessary tools and materials.
- Interpret blueprints to identify weld symbols and ensure accurate execution.
- Maintain quality standards by repairing components and filling gaps as needed.
- Ensure safe working conditions and adherence to established protocols.
- Clean and maintain equipment and the work area.
- Notify supervisors of faulty equipment or defective materials.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A thorough understanding of welding equipment and hand tools used in welding.
- Basic knowledge of design techniques, principles, and tools necessary for precise production.
- Excellent ability to read and understand assignments given in various forms.
- Basic mathematical skills related to welding tasks.
- Ability to weld components at various angles (vertical, flat, overhead).
- Manual dexterity and stability required for precision work.
- Close-range visual acuity.
Job Details:
