We’re currently hiring Assemblers on 2nd shift (2 : 00pm-10 : 00pm 3 : 30pm-12 : 00am 4 : 30pm-1 : 00pm 5 : 30pm-2 : 00am).
Compensation for these temp-to-hire positions is $20.01 per hour.
What an Assembler will do at Polaris :
- Safely use and operate various tools including power tools, hoists, and production equipment
- Maintain a consistent pace throughout the shift with focus on quality (i.e., within applicable quality standards)
- Accurately complete paperwork required for production records
- Ability to read, understand, and follow established processes and instructions
- Follow all safety rules and regulations strictly and maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Participate in continuous improvement process
- Perform duties assigned by Supervisor and / or Group Leader
What you need to be an Assembler at Polaris :
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Work overtime as required and mandated by production schedules
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and push / pull up to 100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to bend, twist, turn, kneel, and squat with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day and reach overhead continuously
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must successfully completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screens
- Must successfully completion of pre-employment training process
