What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tree Service Groundsman position at Dohne Tree Experts?
Responsibilities
- Operate Various equipment in a safe manor including chainsaws, brush chipper, skid steer, stump grinder, leaf blowers, etc.
- Cut & Drag Brush
- Load Wood
- Assist Climber / Bucket operator from ground w/Rigging
- Maintain equipment by cleaning, inspecting, and performing basic repairs as necessary.
- Operate Company Vehicle to include Medium Duty Truck & Trailer
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Tree Care is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of tree care practices and techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to operate a rig or bucket truck safely for tree trimming tasks is desirable.
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
- Valid Drivers License
- Current DOT Medical Card or able to obtain one
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
