What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commerce Marketing Intern position at Doing Things Media?

Founded in 2017, Doing Things touts more than 35 unique brands and delivers more than 100 pieces of original and curated content daily to an audience of more than 80 million followers across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and Snap. This includes the company’s fast-growing direct-to-consumer products business, featuring comedic apparel and accessories based on what’s trending, as well as our Breezy golf apparel line.

Responsibilities:
- Ideate on merchandise ideas for and with the Commerce team, including design concepts for apparel, games, accessories and houseware across our Print-On-Demand (POD) brands.
- Liase between Creative team leads and Commerce department for brainstorms and other needs.
- Collaborate with Marketing team to strategize new and engaging ways to market merchandise to audiences.
- Assist with Marketing and Commerce daily/weekly/monthly tasks.
Qualifications:
- Must be a college student, currently enrolled, with the ability to receive college credits for internship.
- Must be based in New York, NY or San Diego, CA
- Experience with TikTok and/or TikTok Shop Paid Marketing
- Extremely creative, with knowledge on how to best capture a Gen-Z audience.
- Highly organized, with a collaborative and outgoing nature.
