Job Description:
Doing Things is looking for an innovative and experienced Senior Creative Producer with a sense of humor to join its growing team. As the Senior Creative Producer, you’ll be responsible for developing and producing editorial and branded/sponsored content for Doing Things’ portfolio of brands/accounts including Middle Class Fancy, Rad Dad, Kookslams, Awesome People Doing Things, Doggos Doing Things, House of Gaming, and more, In this role, you’ll be producing social-first videos for digital platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Youtube.
Our ideal candidate has a proven track record of creating engaging, viral videos for a media company, brand, and/or a creator (or independently for their own account(s)!). They love collaborating with others to come up with the best content possible, but are also capable of working independently and efficiently. They’re someone who’s adaptable and driven, and excited by the idea of working in a fast-paced environment.
This role must be based in either New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA and reports to the Director of Video Production.

Responsibilities:
- Create highly engaging, entertaining, visually fresh content that excites our existing followers and attracts new ones, while capturing the voice and interests of the accounts across a variety of formats and platforms
- Pitch new ideas for new series and/or episodes
- Work closely with the Director, Video Production, Brand Managers, and the Creative Team to develop, execute, and deliver videos
- Manage and meet deadlines
- Keep multiple, concurrent video projects on schedule and in budget
- Ensure quality control
- Direct/Field produce shoots
- Ability to remote produce shoots with external crew at times
- Provide creative direction and feedback to editors on cuts
- Be mindful of performance goals and KPIs, focused on achieving them, and use key learnings to improve on every video
- 4 years creating comparable content for a media company, brand, publisher, or creator
- Excellent video producing skills
- Experience directing talent
- Experience with social first, comedic content
- Proven ability to ideate and successfully execute engaging editorial and branded/sponsored content for social platforms
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, and think quickly and strategically to meet tight deadlines
- Video Editing experience on Adobe Premiere
- Experience as a videographer (knowledge of DSLR cameras and audio) a plus
- Ability to see multiple projects as a whole and ensure that all parts are moving well
- Passionate for editorial integrity, and comfortable steering partners in this direction diplomatically to set them up for success, utilizing data and key learnings when needed
- An understanding of how business and creative can work together, and how things like ad sales contribute to your ability to make great content
- A desire to work in a fast-paced startup and always stay ahead of social media trends
