Job Description
As a Formwork Designer at Doka USA, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of formwork systems for construction projects. Leveraging your expertise in formwork design principles, structural engineering, and CAD software, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and cost-effective formwork solutions that meet project requirements and exceed client expectations. This role will be an in-person role based out of our Pompano Beach, FL branch and will report into the Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities :
- Design and develop formwork systems for a wide range of construction projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial structures.
- Conduct comprehensive structural analysis to ensure the integrity and safety of designs, considering factors such as load capacity, stability, and material specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints.
- Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to create detailed formwork drawings, plans, and schematics, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements in formwork technology, and regulatory changes, incorporating best practices into design processes and methodologies.
- Participate in project meetings, reviews, and presentations, communicating design concepts, progress updates, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing design processes, enhancing product quality, and maximizing efficiency.
