Description
The IT Business Liaison is responsible for fostering and building service delivery rapport with internal customers, Tier 1 support, completing assigned project tasks, inventory management, and vendor management.
This position is accountable for providing a high degree of customer service specific to ensuring a seamless employee onboarding process. This includes being onsite for onboards, providing immediate and front-line support during the process, and follow-through to ensure staff transition to a formal IT Support workflow.
This position will also support the onboarding experience by completing employee computer setups; this includes ensuring SaaS connectivity and functionality and providing solutions or direction for any technical questions or issues to complete the onboarding process.
This position will be responsible for accurately tracking and maintaining computing inventory of equipment used in the onboarding process.
This position is also responsible for providing and supporting project level work as assigned by IT Management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Track, maintain, and prioritize the monthly onboarding schedule.

Provide onsite support for all onboards to ensure they can perform all computing aspects (applications, email, printers, mobile, computer) required for their jobs.

Provide Tier 1 support in the onboarding process, and work in tandem with IT Management on any Tier 2 issues for prompt resolution.

Communicates and follows through with onboards to ensure technical issues are addressed.

Provides the requisite documentation on troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Provides primary organization and management of the IT asset tracking software.

Provide organizational assistance for projects as assigned by IT Management.

Provide basic user account and organizational unit (OU) maintenance in Active Directory (AD) and Office 365.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required.
- 2-3 years of Customer Service experience involving direct interaction with a customer base
- 1-year Help Desk experience (Tier 1) providing support to internal customers
- Experience working in a high-volume support environment
- Understanding of end-user technology and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with office productivity applications
- Experience supporting Software as a Service (SaaS) based applications
Physical Demands
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, repetitive body movement, squatting, twisting, kneeling, bending, stooping, fast-paced walking and light jogging when necessary, lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds without assistance at various times, and exposure to weather, where extreme temperature ranges may be encountered.
