What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dolan Toyota Service Valet position at Dolan Enterprises Inc?

A Service Valet is responsible for customer support and experience as well as overall cleanliness of service areas

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Must be ready for work at start of shift and available to assist guest.
- Maintain positive interactions with co-workers, managers, and customers. Professionalism and courtesy is required at all times.
- Bag all incoming vehicles, this is to include installing paper floor mats.
- Move vehicles forward on service drive (both incoming and outgoing).
- Open the service garage doors for customers as needed (both incoming and outgoing).
- Park vehicles in designated customer parking areas and marking down the spot on the key tag (if vehicle has manual transmission, mark M next to the spot number on tag).
- Promptly take keys to dispatch board and hanging up on peg corresponding with the last 2 Numbers on the key tag.
- Abide by speed limit, drive cautiously and safely.

Promptly retrieving keys from cashier and delivering vehicle down on service drive
- Remove paper floor mat.
- Remove bag from seat.
- Adhering new oil change sticker on the upper left corner of windshield (remove old sticker if present).
- Remove key ring with tag from keys.
- Remove hangtag from rear view mirror.
- Wipe down customer vehicle (in front of customer if present) after being pulled down on service drive. This includes steering wheel, shifter, drivers side interior/exterior door handle, and window switches.
- You must be friendly and courteous while interacting with guests.
- If customer has a question in regard to their paperwork, please connect them personally with the advisor that helped them, or a drive manager if not available.
- Deliver customers to appropriate team members in service area.
- Transport and deliver vehicles to all Dolan Auto Group locations. You may also be required to deliver or retrieve vehicles from vendor locations or other dealerships and businesses.
- Shuttle our customers to/from home and work.
- Clean shop equipment when requested.
- Empty all garbage bins on the service drive and garage parking areas.
- Throw tires/boxes away when necessary.
- Fill up shuttle vans and customer cars with gas.
- Maintain cleanliness of shuttle vans.
- Maintain cleanliness of service drive and parking garage areas (including sweeping floors, squeegee drive from water/snow, pick up debris from premises).
- Fill out daily check sheet with initials.
- Work scheduled stations as assigned. (For example, 2 valets we be assigned at cashier after 2:30 p.m. until end of day. Schedule for rotation will be provided).

Physical Demands:
Physical demands include, but are not limited to:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Repetitive body movement such as squatting, twisting, kneeling, bending, stooping, fast paced walking and light jogging when necessary.
