Visual Merchandising Specialist – US (Temporary Executions)

About the Role:
Dolce & Gabbana Beauty is seeking a Visual Merchandising Specialist to support the execution of temporary visual installations across the U.S. market. This role requires a detail-oriented, design-driven professional with an architectural or visual design background, and strong project coordination skills. You will play a critical role in the rollout of seasonal campaigns, pop-ups, and activations, ensuring that each execution upholds the brand’s luxury standards and storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Visual Merchandising Execution
- Plan and execute temporary activations and pop-up installations in line with seasonal launches, events, and promotional activities.
- Oversee execution of visual merchandising plans for retail stores, shop-in-shops, and special events.
- Adapt global guidelines to fit local environments while maintaining brand consistency.
- Coordinate production, logistics, and installation schedules with external vendors and internal teams.
- Monitor and ensure quality of all VM elements, from design to in-store execution.
Brand Representation
- Ensure the brand image and luxury aesthetic are reflected in every execution across all retail formats.
- Act as a visual ambassador by upholding high standards of quality, creativity, and detail.
- Educate and support store teams on visual standards and new installations to ensure consistency post-execution.
Collaboration and Communication
- Work cross-functionally to align on campaign launches and store priorities.
- Partner with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and high-quality execution of projects.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Conduct store visits to validate execution quality and consistency.
- Track installation timelines, budget adherence, and vendor performance.
Qualifications
- Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Visual Merchandising, or related field.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office and 3D modeling software.
- 3–4 years of experience in retail visual merchandising, preferably in beauty or luxury sectors.
- Strong project management skills with experience managing installations from concept to execution.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously across various locations.
- High attention to detail and visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in English is required; Spanish is a plus.
