GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE
The Food Safety Quality Assurance (FSQA) Program Evaluation Intern will use their knowledge of microbiology and a risk-based approach to help refine the current environmental monitoring program for the Cooler facility. In addition, the intern will review and evaluate standard operating procedures and sanitation practices, including the equipment commissioning program.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS / DUTIES OF THE POSITION
- Collect environmental samples for pathogens and ATP
- Utilize laboratory software to analyze sample results
- Analyze historic data to identify trends and make recommendations on best practices
- Data entry and database management
- Create and deliver a final presentation to the executive team of Dole Fresh Vegetables
- Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION LEVEL AND FIELDS OF STUDY
