JOB SUMMARY
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Create Maintain and Repair Electrical and Electronic components, equipment or systems in support of Radwell International and customer based requests. Provides technical direction and works with electrical engineers, electricians or technicians to determine best path for any given request. Also serves as a point of contact or business liaison, prepares briefings for senior management and assists in problem resolution specific to the program / project.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Handles Requests and Assignments as they come in
Uses standard and specialized test equipment to diagnose, troubleshoot or evaluate electrical / electronic equipment
Inspect / troubleshoot failed or problematic equipment. Determines root cause and provides path to resolutionAbility to read schematics and blueprintsBuild equipmentReplace Old Equipment / Install New Equipment as directedCalibrate Equipment and InstrumentationAnalyzes the Requests and provides electrical / electronic input to support the projectResponds to the Information Requests as quickly as possiblePrepares a plan of action for the task with the assigned member(s)Prepares a bill of materials when requiredGives an approximated time of completion to the Requester, Updates Requester with any delaysEnsures the progress of the tasks as they move alongReports back to requester with a completion notificationMeets with management and technical staff as requireReports progress of projects and their current estimated time of completion
Records any new updates or delaysAssists in ongoing requestsWorks on projects that have been assigned by management
Uses his background to assist with ongoing projectsConduct appropriate research and development to facilitate new and innovative solutions to the test environment necessary for the Radwell business modelProvides input for SOP documents and / or videos to guide technicians and for training purposesMay be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED :
Demonstrated planning and organization skills1-2 years of proven experience and demonstrated proficiency in the electrical / electronics, mechanical, and / or power transmission fields requiredMust have exposure to electrical engineering design principles and methodologiesA thorough knowledge of electrical / electronic components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposesExperience in design, repair and analysis of electronic systemsHigh degree of precision working with minimum tolerances requiredAbility to climb in overhead structures, to work beneath machines and in close quarters performing analysis and repair workMust be highly safety consciousExposed to high voltage electricityComputer experience / operationComputer programming a plusPLC programming a plusProficient in MS OfficeWillingness to participate in a team-oriented environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience and ability to work in a fast-paced production environmentEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
