JOB SUMMARY:
Effective management of quality control to ensure product performance including concrete mix designs. Implement Dolese Bros. Co. quality management system and provide expertise and troubleshooting support to sales and operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Support sales during bidding process
- Investigate and propose solutions to technical customer’s complaints,
- Communicate with quality manager when new mix designs are required based on project specifications
- Communicate with customers related to the use and performance of our products
- Communicate with CQC when product testing is required
- Regular, reliable attendance at the worksite or assigned work location
- Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience/Education/Skill
- Excellent concrete technical knowledge.
- Ability to read, comprehend and execute blueprints and written specifications.
- Ability to read, write and figure mathematical calculations.
- Good driving and safety records.
- Excellent verbal, written and comprehension communication skills.
- Quality oriented and excellent observation skills.
- Self-motivated, organized and can work without direct supervision.
- Good basic clerical skills.
- Ability to work near, around or on light or heavy equipment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude that fosters effective relationships.
- Willingness to work nights, overtime and weekends as required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- ACI Level 1 certification.
- NRMCA Level 3 certification.
- Five years’ experience or a Bachelor’s degree in related field.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Lift objects repeatedly of various dimensions and up to 100lbs. of weight
- Ability to repeatedly climb stairs and climb ladders
- Ability to repeatedly balance, bend from the trunk, crawl, kneel, push and pull objects
- Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weather conditions
- Ability to repeatedly reach, squat and tolerate prolonged standing / walking / sitting
- Ability to repeatedly walk on uneven surfaces
