JOB SUMMARY
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide support to hiring managers by recruiting qualified candidates for a variety of positions that deliver optimal outcomes for all stakeholders. This role will also be responsible for the full recruiting lifecycle and creating positive experiences for candidates and hiring managers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ensure successful execution of the candidate sourcing, candidate screening, interview process management, and offer presentation and negotiation activities related to assigned requisitions
- Interview candidates to assess qualifications, interest, and availability using a combination of phone, video, digital, and in-person tools
- Make decisions on which candidates move forward for consideration based on candidate qualifications, interest, and availability
- Obtain interview feedback and hiring decisions from hiring managers in a timely and compliant manner
- Communicate status updates to candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, including decisions to unsuccessful candidates, to ensure positive candidate and manager experiences
- Develop collaborative relationships with hiring managers and other stakeholders to provide recruiting and sourcing guidance
- Utilize communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders to ensure a positive experience
- Coordinate and participate in job fairs, community activities, and other public and departmental recruitment-related events
- Assist with candidate engagement by returning calls to determine qualifications and interest level
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of recruitment, employment, compensation, benefits, and other related organizational policies, practices, procedures, and/or regulations
- Serve as a resource for recruitment policies, procedures, and practices to supervisors, HR, and others; refer to other recruiters and staff as appropriate
- Assist with identifying issues affecting recruitment and implementing recruitment activities to continuously improve processes
- Maintain the Workday ATS system and records, ensuring accuracy
- Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field required
- At least 2 years of recruitment or related experience required
- Experience using an applicant tracking system, customer relationship management system, or a similar system at an enterprise level required
- Experience with Workday HCM and Recruiting preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- General understanding of Human Resources and the recruitment process
- Passion for the candidate experience and representing Dolese’s brand throughout the talent lifecycle
- Self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented with good organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication abilities including written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude that fosters effective relationships
- Ability to demonstrate a strong customer-service orientation in a team environment
- Ability to learn and apply new concepts effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends as required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Lift objects repeatedly of various dimensions and up to 30 lbs. of weight
- Ability to perform 80% sedentary work and tolerate prolonged standing/sitting/walking
- Ability to repeatedly balance, bend from the trunk, crawl, kneel, push and pull objects
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel
- Ability to verbally communicate, hear, and see
