JOB SUMMARY
The Retail Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating equipment to load rail cars, customers' trucks, or stockpile trucks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Operates equipment to safely load rail cars, customers' trucks, or stockpile trucks with desired specification product within legal load limitsFollows all company policies and local, state, and federal regulations (MSHA, etc.) for safe, environmentally conscious working proceduresPerforms daily pre-and-post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policiesUtilizes understanding of specifications of different finished materials and the capabilities of equipment of various sizes and weightsMaintains designated work area (stockpiles, etc.)Performs minor servicing and maintenance of equipment or facilitiesAssists with major repairs as neededRegular, reliable attendance at the worksite or assigned work locationOther duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as neededQUALIFICATIONS
