Position Description:
The Early AM Warehouse Associate is responsible for, but not limited to loading, organizing, and staging kegs on side-bay trailers. Additionally, this position performs other general warehouse duties. Performs all duties within the objectives, standards, mission and policies of Doll Distributing LLC; State of Iowa laws and regulations governing the beer industry; and brewery/supplier requirements
Essential Functions:
- Accurately load and stage customer keg orders into side-bay trailers.
- Stage and organize kegs
- Performs general warehouse labor such as, but not limited to, picking cases, building/checking/loading pallets onto delivery trucks
- Replenish depleted pick line with the next available product
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy in building orders and loading trucks
- Rotate products in compliance with Anheuser-Busch and other suppliers’ product freshness.
- Must be able to read, understand and interpret all product code dates
- Exhibits strong commitment to the service needs of the internal/external customer
- Represents the company in a professional and courteous manner
- Compliance with all company and equipment safety regulations
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness/safety of the warehouse (beer leveled and plastic removed from pallet)
- Any other work as assigned

Qualifications
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (English)
- Basic computer skills
- Basic mathematical aptitude skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize work functions
- Ability to obtain certification in forklift and pallet jack operations
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people and customers
Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- High School or GED (General Education Diploma) required.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred
Working Conditions:
- Temperature/Climate
- This position will be conducted frequently in a 40-degree temperature and frequently in 60–68-degree temperature-controlled environment.
- Safety Considerations
- This position handles heavy keg orders daily in a cold environment; must dress appropriately and use proper lifting techniques.
- This position will routinely drive a forklift (Constantly), pallet-jacks, and other cleaning equipment (Frequently)
- Personal Protective Equipment necessary
- Steel-toed boots/shoes with skid-proof soles are required
