PM Warehouse Manager
Sign-On Bonus: $2,000 for qualified candidates
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1pm-10pm, additional hours may be required to meet the needs of internal and external customers
Position Description:
The PM Warehouse Manager is responsible managing employees, processes and systems related to inventory, order building and loading of products for distribution. This position is responsible for providing a safe and secure operation of all warehouse activities. Additionally, this position will ensure that productivity targets are tracked, communicated and met within industry and company standards. This position exercises initiative and independent judgment in the performance of assigned tasks. All duties performed are expected to be within the objectives, standards, mission, and policies of Doll Distributing LLC; State of Iowa laws and regulations governing the beer industry; and brewery/supplier requirements.
Essential Functions:
- Review systems, processes and procedures for value and efficiency
- Enforce company policies and procedures
- Coach and consult employee performance and maintain discipline when necessary
- Schedule team meetings that address performance issues and encourage feedback
- Assist in the hiring, skill assessment, and annual evaluation of receiving, maintenance, and repack employees
- Exhibit strong commitment to the service needs of the internal/external customer
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
- Communicate effectively with other departments regarding inventory and/or delivery issues
- Lead, teach and coach employees
- Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met
- Administer pick tickets in order to complete selecting in the most efficient manner
- Monitor employee performance up to and including evaluations, documented corrective actions, performance improvement plans and termination
- Assist warehouse employees as needed to ensure daily tasks are completed
- Delegate tasks to capable warehouse employees
- Perform accident investigations, reporting, follow-up and recommendations
- Maintain standard of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment
- Comply with all company and equipment safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 19 years of age or older
- High School or GED required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- CDL License Required within 90 days - Will train the right candidate
- 1-3 years of warehouse distribution experience required
- 1 years of warehouse management experience preferred
- Hands on experience in warehouse management preferably in beverage distribution
- Proven track record in leadership and improving team performance
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel preferred
- Ability to obtain certification for forklift and pallet jack

- Must possess strong time management skills; ability to prioritize work functions

Working Conditions:
- Temperature/Climate
- This position will spend 95% of the shift in a climate-controlled environment, and 5% of the shift in an outdoor environment
- Safety Considerations
- This position could drive forklift trucks, pallet-jacks, other cleaning equipment and company vehicles
- Personal Protective Equipment necessary
- Steel toed boots/shoes with skid proof soles, optional
- Physical/Mental/Organizational Capabilities
- The individual must possess the ability to walk, stand, sit, bend and lift a minimum of 20 lbs and a maximum of 165 lbs with assistance of equipment. The individual must be able to read written paperwork in English. The ability to pay attention to detail, problem solve, troubleshoot, and make decisions is required
