Job Title: Office Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains standards for customer service, human resource functions, cleanliness, professional appearance, and overall profitability.
- Ensures products are available to customers in a timely basis and all item parameters are accurately maintained in the product management software.
- Coordinates recruiting, hiring, payroll, performance and wage reviews, orientation, scheduling, benefits, personnel issues and relations, plus other duties.
Partnerships:
- Answers the telephone promptly when called upon and provides friendly, helpful service to customers who call.
- Oversees cash accountability, accounting procedures, and audits to ensure compliance and proper record keeping.
- Responsible for posting sales, scanning checks for back office conversion, completing deposit and balances system, scanning invoices, and accounts receivable.
- Ensures inventory information is accurate for monthly inventory.
- Monitors excess inventory and works with store management to minimize.
- Transmits sales, hours, adjustments, and accounts receivable to corporate office on a weekly basis.
Employee Management:
- Counsels with department head and employee regarding performance reviews, benefits, wages, etc.
- Facilitates the hiring process such as interviewing, hiring, orientation, and training.
- Project and review schedule, honors employee time off requests, and replaces employees that call in.
- Prepares employee wage and employment verifications, as well as disability claims, leave of absence requests, and extensions.
Visual Requirements:
Vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision.
Work Environment:
This position is frequently exposed to noise, occasionally exposed to temperature extremes and equipment movement hazards, and continually exposed to the fast-paced work environment and pressure to meet deadlines.
Equipment Used:
- Windows-based PC, printer, wireless devices, telephone, fax, copier, calculator, internet, product management software, and Microsoft Office products.
Financial Responsibility:
Responsible for company assets including equipment and merchandise. Has access to confidential information including store inventory information, item costs, and margins.
