Job Description
As a Professional Over-the-Road Driver for Dollar General Fleet, you will be responsible for transporting store-delivery freight as well as store returns and backhauls over-the-road in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. You will unload and reload freight and rolltainers at each delivery, ensuring all items are properly secured before sealing the trailer.
You will provide professional customer service to all parties, including store teams, backhaul vendors, and distribution employees. Additionally, you will ensure operation of the vehicle is in compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations.
