Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer service leadership by greeting and assisting customers, operating cash registers, and scanning items.
- Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week, ensuring seamless operations.
- Assist the Store Manager with scheduling employees, providing training, conducting safety meetings, and enforcing company policies and procedures.
- Manage merchandise, including receiving, unpacking, stocking, and rotating inventory on shelves and building displays.
- Implement and maintain planograms to ensure merchandise is presented according to established practices and Store Manager direction.
- Ensure financial integrity of the store through strict cashier accountability, key control, and adherence to company security practices and cash control procedures.
- Assist with store management in the Store Manager's absence, making informed decisions to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- One year of retail experience and six months supervisory experience required.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations effectively.
- Good organization skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, perform mathematical calculations, and operate cash registers efficiently.
