Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service leadership and ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.
- Assist the Store Manager with scheduling employees, providing training, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage merchandise, including receiving, stocking, and rotating inventory to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Implement and maintain planograms to ensure merchandise is presented according to established practices.
- Assist with financial management, including cash handling, deposits, and inventory control.
- Perform other duties as necessary to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One year of experience in a retail environment and six months of supervisory experience preferred.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
Working Conditions: This role requires frequent walking, standing, and bending. You will also be required to lift up to 40 pounds and occasionally climb ladders.
