Responsible for developing strategic business plans for the departments they manage as well as ensuring the tactical execution of those plans with their teams. Has the overall responsibility of managing product fulfillment, in-stock levels, and inventory management for defined vendors and categories (including import SKUs) to support distribution center and store forecast and replenishment. Responsible for managing the new/disco item execution, as well as promotional/key event planning and execution within a defined group of vendors and categories. This position is responsible for building cross-team relationships, developing process improvements and execute company inventory initiatives.
Job Details:
- Leads a team of analysts to oversee the management of inventory at distribution centers and stores for an assigned group of vendors and categories.
- Ensure team continuously improves key performance indicators (KPI) for assigned vendors and categories
- Collaborates with key cross-functional teams (merchants, planners) to ensure inventory levels align with merchandise policy and financial goals. Communicates strategies to analysts.
- Works with analysts in review of network inventory to identify issues/opportunities and development of action plans to support company financial goals.
- Manages vendor collaboration and score carding to drive continuous improvement of KPI metrics
- Deploys new item entrance and exit strategies (planogram resets). Provides weekly status updates to management.
- Oversees execution of various seasonal categories, promotional and event plans. Ensures that inventories are appropriate to support sales and presentation standards.
- HR responsibilities include managing group of analysts to include selection, training, performance management, and development for movement within department/organization.
- Ability to deliver expected quantitative and qualitative results.
- Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results.

- Demonstrated expertise as a supply chain generalist with the working knowledge and ability to understand and troubleshoot end to end processes.
- Ability to develop, plan, organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, financial or other related field and 4 years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, replenishment, or inventory control required. Direct experience in retail industry and/or associated value chain required. Supervisory experience strongly preferred. Experience with supplier relationship management strongly preferred. EYC G.O.L.D. knowledge preferred.
