Company Overview
This position has responsibility for managing the auto-reconciliation process and the ability to multi-task team projects related to inventory reconciliation. Will be responsible for analyzing and researching all metrics required for the timely and accurate reconciliation of store inventories to the physical counts. . Must be able to identify, analyze, and resolve store inventory inaccuracies due to shipping or inventory adjustment errors. Also, must have the ability to work cross-functionally with different departments. This role has a direct financial impact on the accuracy and financial shrink results of all store locations.
Job Details
- Manages auto-reconciliation process and recommends adjustments to improve auto- reconciliation system.
- Delivers insights regarding categorization of inventory reconciliations including an action plan regarding accuracy of shrink results, also responsible for continuous improvement of reconciliations through detailed risk assessments and analysis.
- Produces reports, performs ad hoc and trend analysis, executes various financial entries based on finding, while maintaining all electronic files to ensure financial shrink results are accurate in compliance with company and accounting guidelines.
- Mentors the development of the Analysts and supervises the quality of the analysts’ deliverables. Assists in additional reconciliations as needed.
- Collaborates and proactively engages with the field and internal departments (including Transportation and Inventory Support) as part of in-depth research.
- Ability to manage multiple decision processes while working in a fast-paced paperless environment using multiple systems and database applications

- Strong attention to detail with a sense of urgency around deadlines
- Ability to work cross-functionally and independently
- Strong written & verbal communication skills; intermediate level in Microsoft Word and Excel
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or other related field and one year experience in retail chainenvironment required. 2-4 years of relevant experience may be substituted. Experience with data warehousing and reporting applications required – 1010 Data knowledge preferred.
