In this role, you will oversee the receiving or shipping functions, assisting in creating a strong work team and helping resolve employee relations issues.
You will participate on the distribution center management team, developing action plans for conducting internal analyses and gap identification. You will also conduct daily status meetings with the management team to review prior day's performance and develop an action plan for the current day.
- Reviews current or future trends that indicate possible gaps in inbound or outbound functions and makes recommendations based on findings.
- Develops and communicates Productivity Improvement Plan for each performance indicator or area identified for improvement.
- Monitors department budget on a monthly basis; assists in development of budget for inbound or outbound functions.
