Job Details:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Store Manager Candidate. As a Store Manager Candidate, you will assist the Store Manager in implementing all store processes, including employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, and customer service. This role is designed to develop your skills and knowledge in preparation for a future Store Manager position.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting in recruiting and staffing activities.
- Facilitating store merchandising by participating in staging, stocking, and storage of merchandise.
- Assisting with inventory management, including proper execution of damages, markdowns, and register scanning.
- Fostering superior customer service leadership.
- Acting as a role model by following company procedures and policies.
- Participating in store opening and closing activities.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of experience in a retail environment, preferably as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to read and interpret documents, perform mathematical calculations, and learn IBM cash register functions.
