Job Summary
The Sales Associate acts as a key point of contact for customers, assisting them in locating and purchasing merchandise while operating the cash register, stocking merchandise, recovering merchandise, cleaning the store, and performing other duties assigned by the Store Manager to maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their shopping needs.
- Operate the cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer purchases, collect payment, make change, and bag merchandise as necessary.
- Familiarize yourself with company merchandise processes to efficiently unpack, stock, restock, and rotate merchandise on shelves and build displays.
- Maintain a clean store environment by taking out trash, dusting, mopping floors, cleaning the restroom, receiving room, and setting up sidewalk displays.
